Barry is the President and CEO of Colorectal Cancer Canada and a patient advocate on our OPTIMISTICC team.  He received this award for his tireless efforts to improve treatment access for all cancer patients in Canada by facilitating the engagement of patients in clinical trials and for his commitment to promoting primary prevention and ensuring population-based colorectal cancer screening. Listen to the award presentation and hear from Barry about how proud and humbled he is for having received this wonderful award and that he is doubly inspired to continue helping patients access cancer clinical trials.
